Guided house tours focus on the evolution of civil rights in American history, from slavery to the civil rights movement, through the lens of The Grove and its former residents.
House tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis:
Wednesday through Saturday: 10:00 a.m.,11:00 a.m., noon, 1:00 p.m, 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The house and grounds are CLOSED Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Tours for groups of ten (10) or more are available at $1.00 per guest. Please contact [email protected] in advance to make group tour arrangements.

The Grove's grounds are open Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to stroll the site, observe wildlife, and enjoy a large selection of native and exotic plants. Well behaved dogs on leashes may visit the site during normal operating hours. Picnic tables and benches are available on a first come, first served basis - bring your lunch!

Visitor parking is located at 902 N. Monroe St., Tallahassee, Florida 32303.
Well-behaved pets on leashes may visit the grounds during normal operating hours. In respect of others, please clean up after your pet.
Only service animals are permitted inside the house.
Alcohol and tobacco are not permitted on the premises.
For the safety of all guests, motorized vehicles (other than personal mobility devices), bicycles, skateboards and skates are not permitted.
Young children must be accompanied by an adult while inside the house or on the grounds.
Wheelchairs are available on-site for use in the historic house.
General
· Non-flash photography for personal use by Museum visitors is allowed unless the specific objects or exhibits are posted as No Photography. Flash photography for personal use by visitors is allowed around the grounds (outside of the museum).
· Photography by visitors may not obstruct another visitor’s access to exhibits or otherwise disrupt their visit.
· Use of tripods and lighting equipment by visitors is not allowed inside the museum unless given specific permission.
· Requests to use Museum facilities for filming must be mission and subject-related and documentary in nature.
· Filming requests from film school students or filmmakers for commercial purposes are not allowed.
Special Requests
· Requests for the use of general museum images for advertising, scholarly or other non-media publications should be referred to the Executive Director.
· Requests for publication images of specific objects should be referred to the curator.
Media
· All requests from media outlets will be referred to the Florida Department of State Communications Director. https://dos.fl.gov/communications/
· Media representatives may be asked to provide identification.
· If equipment other than a hand-held camera is to be used, media representatives must be accompanied by a Museum staff member. The visitor’s experience should not be impacted by the media.
