Seventh Annual Grove Day!

March 9, 2024

10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Celebrate The Grove Museum's opening anniversary with a day of special programs for the whole family!

Enjoy musical performances, outdoor games and activities, and learn about the history and archeology of the site. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the grounds in bloom.

Special programs and activities for 2024 include:

10:15-11:00 a.m., Musical Performance by the Jazz Bishops

11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Guided tour of the new temporary exhibit, "Early Florida Maps & Tallahassee's Bicentennial"

12:30-1:30 p.m., Free snow cones from Jmo's Sneauxball Catering Co.

1:00-2:00 p.m., Children's Interactive Musical Performance by Runaway Biscuits

2:00-3:00 p.m., Archaeology-themed Nature & History Walk

 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Information and activities provided by community partners, including 1000 Friends of Florida, Au Pair in America, Florida Public Archaeology Network, John G. Riley Center & Museum, LeMoyne Art Gallery, Mission San Luis, Museum of Florida History

10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Food trucks offering food and beverage for purchase, Street Chefs, SWAT (Seafood, Wings & Things), and the Chocolate Dandies

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: House tours on the hour, 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Saturday: House tours on the hour, 10, 11 a.m., Noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

Group Tours: Tours for groups of ten (10) or more are available at $1.00 per guest. For group tours, please contact the museum in advance to make arrangements.

Grounds open Wednesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
